Jon's pick of the week - Batman and Robin #1

Dunno if ya'll picked it up this week but you should! After some mixed feelings about Batman RIP and Final Crisis, but this book turned out very well. We've got Dick Grayson donning the cape and cowl while still morning bruce, and then we've got this great modern age robin who's different than any robin we've had...it's a lighter batman and a dark robin. Anyways, go pick it up!

I did pick it up. And I read it. And it is good. Really good. The new Batcave/Bat-Tower is neato. The flying Batmobile is nifty. Robin needs a kick in the pants from Nightwing, which I'm sure will come, but I can definitely see Robin being a VERY interesting character.

Now can I make a pick of the week? CHEW, from Image Comics, by John Layman and Rob Guillory. The story is waaay out there and the art is definitely something different. It's most certainly an odd flavour, but it's good to try new things. Ask Jon to re-order it as I'm sure it sold out at the store ;)
