Hey all, I'm often asked what's on my "list". Well here is one of my favorites, it's POWERS! Written by Brian Michael Bendis and art by Michael Avon Omening it follows the adventures of Christian Walker, a homicide detective in a world of super powers. The series definitely has an adult feel to it as sex, drugs, violent deaths, and strong language are a huge part of the book...think F/X network type shows like The Shield and Sons of Anarchy. It's not your typical book which is why i like it, almost anything can happen within an issue. The series has recently begun anew with Walker partnered with former Internal Affairs officer Sunrise, it's a great jumping on point for new readers and I highly recommend it!
