JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRY FOR JUSTICE #1 preview

DC just posted a preview of the upcoming Justice League: Cry for Justice #1 mini series. It's going to be 6 issues written by James Robinson with art by Mauro Cascioli.

General idea of the series can be summed up by Green Lanterns quote on the preview page "I'm saying this will not stand. I'm saying they hurt us, we hurt them back." which is pretty intense! The deaths of Batman and Manhunter kick start a few members of the JLA & JSA to seek out those responsible.

an Ultimate week!

Ultimatum #4 hits selves this Wednesday, and it's not looking good for our buddy spider-man!!


also out is one of my all time favorite books, ultimate spider-man...which i debate to be one of the greatest books on the market right now...and sadly this is the final issue of the series as we know it...but there will be a new ultimate spidey book...i really hope they don't screw it up!

i am really going to miss immonen's art...and this issue definitely means trouble for much loved spider clone...that's right if you haven't been reading bendis did the clone saga and made it ubercool! with the series ending and beginning anew i really hope that doesn't mean the end of the female clone!!

so don't miss out...both books hit this Wednesday along with a ton of other good stuff (Batman & Robin, war of kings, etc)

New Avengers still kicking it!

I know there's been alot going on...with the secret invasion and all, i'm sure you've got a stack of marvel books kicking around...and it might possibly have New Avengers in it...and if you haven't picked them up to read, well get on it!! cause the book is still top notch! if you haven't been reading issue #50 is a great place to start.


You get a great team dynamic with loads of action and amazying art! Wolverine is the man of few words badass he should be and spider-man is the wise cracking joker you'd think he would be in this group...actually all the characters are done very well! so pick it up already!

Batman and Robin #1 - June 3rd!

Hey all, just a reminder that it's a whole new era of batman this coming week. On June 3rd Batman and Robin #1 will be hitting the shelves. As you may or may not know Dick Grayson (aka Nightwing...aka 1st Robin) is now Batman! Rumor is that he'll keep the cowl for a year... so we're looking at a 12 issue run possibly. Written by Grant Morrison and art by Frank Quietly.

Archie #600 - Archie get's married?!?!?

It the love triangle truly over?!?!? Has Archie finally decided?! What will happen to the rest of the riverdale gang after they graduate?!?! If it's true...then what will happen to the whole Archie universe?!?!

Yeah that's right folks...it's the Archie event of the century and almost everyone will be looking forward to...okay well at lest you'll be curious!


Archie #600 is slated to hit our shelves August 19th, 2009. And it's sure to be a hit sales wise... who do you know that hasn't read an Archie in their lifetime?!? so be sure to let us know how many copies you want!!

Invincible - very underrated!

So Invincible is probably the most underrated book that Image produces. For us it's never been a big seller which is a shame cause it's such a great book. The concept is that young Mark Grayson is your typical teenager, just trying to get though school, relationships and well...his father is also the most powerful superhero on the planet (think superman). So what happens when Mark starts to develop powers...now he's gotta live up to expectations. It's very ultimate spider-man meets smallville but with the Image twist. So we see him dealing with alot more dangerous and twisted stuff that won't be seen in kid friendly books like spider-man and superman.


Be sure to check the book out in TPB or Hardcover when you get the chance! They just wrapped up a company wide crossover that is completely contained in issue #60 if you wanted a taste of what's going down.

Need more? well there's a twist in the first couple story arcs...he father is actually sent to conquer earth!!! and Invincible is not down with that so it leads to a very epic showdown between father and son!

Warmachine covers are badass!

So the new Warmachine is out today...and it was just looking at it and thinking how badass the covers have been! They are done by Francesco "Matt" Mattina who has also done covers for thunderbolts, nova and guardians of the galaxy...wonder if he's capable of interiors?
